Welcome to Romello Studios by artist Melanie Stratton

Non-verbal communication is limitless. I enjoy working intuitively. Things often appear when I least expect them. Much of my work revolves around mother earth, the feminine, spirituality, food, floral, and the supernatural. I often use bold colors when I paint, and stay conservative when editing photographs. Trained in film, I rely more on my camera than post editing. I re-purpose materials as often as I am able. Charms, crown, and wreaths are a favorite creations of mine. When painting I don’t strive for something to look realistic. I aim for individual interaction and response. I strive to add to the greater conversation of humanity and encourage critical thought.
